Billing & credits — automated texts
Monthly plans above cover Gmail auto-replies only. Text messaging in QuickReplies falls into two categories:
Manual texts
QuickReplies can notify your phone when a lead is ready for outreach. You tap the notification, the app opens with a message already drafted, and you only tap Send. That SMS goes out from your personal number—not through our messaging provider—so QuickReplies does not charge per message; manual texts are free (your normal carrier plan still applies as usual).
Automated texts
Rules-based or scheduled SMS that send automatically through our messaging provider (your QuickReplies number—not your personal line) use a separate credit balance. The provider charges per segment, so credits apply here only—not when you send the notification-assisted flow from your own phone.
- Automated texts: per-segment pricing. You are charged $0.035 per standard SMS segment for each automated text you send and for each inbound text to your QuickReplies number. Longer messages can use more than one segment, so they consume more credits.
- Credits, not a subscription add-on. You purchase credit packs in checkout; your balance goes up when payment completes. Sending and receiving deducts credits from that balance.
- Auto-reload (optional). On the dashboard you can turn on auto-reload so a new pack is purchased when your balance drops below a threshold you set—so outbound texts are not interrupted when credits run low.
Manual text setup covers opt-in and notifications for the tap-to-send workflow from your personal number. SMS credits are only for automated provider messages. Buy and manage credits from your dashboard.
